Carlos Rodríguez

Mr. Rodríguez was most recently a Managing Director and Deputy Head of Macro at Credit Suisse in New York and London. Mr. Rodríguez began his career on Wall Street in the Public Finance Department of Merrill Lynch in 1996 where he focused on interest rate hedging strategies to enhance debt transactions for municipal clients and non-for profit institutions. After working several years covering banking clients he shifted his focus to trading where he rose to manage Merrill Lynch’s proprietary guaranteed investment contract business.

In 2004, Mr. Rodríguez transitioned to Deutsche Bank to establish the bank’s Municipal Bond effort from scratch. Over the next 6 years, he built an elite banking team covering all aspects of municipal bond trading and grew the business into one of the most profitable segments of the bank. Mr. Rodríguez received his BS in Finance and MS in Accounting from Tulane University, with honors.
